MAKE A CHOICE
I hear people complain that the rich don’t want to expose their secret, because they don’t want others to be as rich as them, like the local adage says, “Teach me how to fish, don’t give me fish”.
Donald Trump, a renowned businessman, and presently the President of America wrote about his secret in his book “THINK BIG” (2007:15), he stated, people always ask me, “How did you get so rich?” the way I do things has allowed me to succeed financially far beyond what I had expected”, he also stated further, “it is not easy to explain in a couple of words, but I have noticed that all these successful people have traits that set them apart from the pack: their attitudes, actions, persistence and passion, plus a whole slew of other qualities that separate the winners from the losers”.
The step to success is very easy but the problem is consistency and continuity. Every man can take the step to success, pray, read, save, invest, work hard, change friends, sleep late and wake early etc. But how long can we remain consistent? This is what determines success.
The truth is, you can never know all in one day, just get started no matter how small. The most important thing is to begin, even though the first step seems to be the hardest.
Follow the words of Pat Robertson “despise not the day of small beginnings because you can make all your mistakes anonymously”. The journey of life is synonymous to the journey on land, never be discouraged when you are in a traffic jam, the problem lies in the holdup.
Bill gate the founder of Microsoft started with just $200 borrowed from a friend. His friends and family despised his little beginning because of their disbelieve in his vision, they refused to offer him his request despite it was a chicken change. Today, Bill gate is one of the wealthiest people in the world.

Richard Branson – Founder of Virgin group created his own job (a national magazine company) at 15 years of Age with no capital, no office and more importantly, no typewriter. He used some careless change from his mother to negotiate with a printer who he needed to print his advert bill promising he will pay complete when advertisers start coming, he went on, going from one successful person to another asking if he can have an interview section with them. Likely, a renowned company Barclays Bank bought space and even sent a check in advance that was enough to pay his print bill.
If you see a bright idea go for it. If you see a problem, deal with it. (Richard Branson).
Never let your dominant gift become dormant even for a moment. Success is a battle between passion and fear. The secret to success is simply discipline, passion, drive, consistency, attitude, the list goes on. Let’s hear the great business mogul.
