Discover Who You Are; In One Word, Who Are You?

If you are asked to define yourself in an impromptu speech, what will be your one word?. Many people have undermined the concept of trying to understand or define themselves in just one word.

Defining yourself in one word is the most powerful discovery any/everyone can make about his/her self.
It makes you stable and difficult to push around. Many people just know they desire success but cannot really picture what they actually want to succeed in so they go around doing everything with anyone they see succeeding in their own field.

The bible said in Proverb 22 verse 29, "Seest thou a diligent in his business, he shall seat with Kings; he shall not stand before mean men". What most readers of the Bible fail to understand is that the bible is not referring to just been diligent but in been diligent in one's business. The Songs of Solomon 1 verse 6, gives a living example of an individual who was diligent in his brothers business and fails to work on his own business this cost him his color. "Look not upon me because I am black because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards, but my own vineyard has I not kept".

Work don't burn people out, it is wrong work that burns people out. Work doesn't stress, it stretches. when you finally discover that one definition of who you are, it will make you work more yet fat more. This is because of the satisfaction you will get when you work in the line of your assignment.

You may have wondered how the likes of bill gates, Cristiano Ronaldo and Dangote work for as many hours as they do. The answer is simple, They have found what they will love to live for and if need be, will love to die for ~Mandela. They have found what they can die for which is the essence of their living. Like Marthin, Luther King Junior states. "If you don't have what you can die for, you are not what living.

Many people are diligent in watching football matches, jokes, and movies and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them provided it doesn't affect your own calling and your place of assignment.

Spend quality time in working on your dream and if you are yet to discover your dream, you need to wake up and fight to discover your dream because that is the essence of life. I will make more emphasis in my forthcoming post.
